Fiancée Visa

Testimonials
Hello there! Thank you for all the good advice you gave me, I really had a super time in Russia and I was been welcomed with open arms , everything is going great between Larisa and me I think, I really found the woman of my dreams and I have the slavicbridge to thank for that. She is the sunshine of my life and it did hurt me a lot to leave her and her family behind again. I would have never thought I would get so much help and support from the office in Volzhky...

BRINGING YOUR RUSSIAN OR UKRANIAN FIANCÉE TO THE UNITED STATES

A K-1 Fiancée visa is what will be required in order to bring your Russian or Ukrainian bride to the United States. The firm that we closely work with in the United States of Samuels Yoelin Kantor Seymour & Spinrad LLP would be happy to assist you with the K-1 visa process.

The K-1 visa is used by U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) and the U.S. Embassy abroad to the U.S. citizens who wish to bring their Russian or Ukrainian bride to the United States for the purpose of marriage. Minor children of your Fiancée may accompany her to the United States on a K-2 dependent visa.

With roots dating back to 1927, Samuels Yoelin Kantor Seymour & Spinrad LLP ranks as one of Oregon’s oldest law firms. This firm is widely recognized throughout the Pacific Northwest for the superior legal work that they perform on behalf of business and individual clients. Samuels Yoelin Kantor Seymour & Spinrad LLP will ensure that you are guided safely through the complete K-1 visa process. The immigration services provided will be from the time you propose to your young lady and apply for a K-1 Fiancée visa, to her actual entering the United States, through the adjustment of status (green card) process after your marriage, to eventually the naturalization application with USCIS to have your new wife become a United States citizen.

Until your marriage has taken place, your Russian or Ukrainian Fiancée is considered a non-immigrant. A non-immigrant is defined as “a person of foreign nationality seeking to enter the United States for a specific purpose.” Your Fiancée does not automatically obtain an extension of the 90-day time limitation imposed on her non-immigrant admission to the United States on a K-1 visa. It will be necessary for you and your new wife to apply for an adjustment of status after two of you are married and within the 90 days of her entry to the United States in a K-1 status.
